About

When you lose a loved one, let the compassionate professionals at Grand View Funeral Home and Grand View Memorial Park help you. Working together, the funeral home and cemetery offer complete funeral, cremation and cemetery services—including memorial estate planning and memorial design—to families in Pasadena, Deer Park and La Porte, Texas.

The sister locations sit at the corner of Spencer Highway and Luella Boulevard, easily accessed via Sam Houston Tollway, West Fairmont Parkway and Red Bluff Road. For those traveling by air, Grand View Funeral Home and Grand View Memorial Park are only a short drive from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

An inclusive Texas funeral home

Grand View Funeral Home serves people of all cultures, religions and backgrounds. Because of the diversity of our area, we have both English- and Spanish-speaking team members with a deep understanding of our community’s various cultures. We believe every memorial service should be as unique as the person it celebrates. For this reason, we work with families to incorporate any religious or cultural practices into the service.

Flexible spaces for personalized services

At Grand View, we have 1 designated chapel and 2 outdoor pavilions available for memorial services. Our traditional chapel seats 300 people comfortably in pews. Our 2 beautiful outdoor pavilions also seat 300 people each. Visitation and staterooms are available for smaller memorial and funeral ceremonies.

We also encourage families to customize our funeral home chapels with memorabilia, photos and other mementos of the person being honored. Should you wish to take things a step further, our funeral directors specialize in services that capture the essence of a person. Let's sit down together and you tell us a story. We find inspiration in almost anything—a favorite sports team, a personal style, a cherished pastime—and use it to inform a most memorable memorial service.

Cremation services

Not everyone knows that there are many options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.

Grand View Memorial Park cemetery

Statue at Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park/Bethany CemeteryFounded in 1952, Grand View Memorial Park sits on 68 acres on the outer city limits of Deer Park, where the Treaty for Texas Independence was signed. The cemetery got its name from the founder, who, when looking at the property’s lush grounds, declared, “What a grand view.”

In addition to stately trees, seasonal flowers and well-kept landscaping, our cemetery property features a Masonic garden and meditation estates. Grand View Memorial Park was designed to be a welcoming and comforting place for all who visit or choose to make this their final resting place.

Burial options

Grand View Memorial Park offers in-ground burial, cremation, and family and private options. Rights of sepulture are available in beautiful lawn interment spaces and mausoleum entombment within crypts in the Last Supper Mausoleum.

For those selecting cremation, there are marble niches in the Last Supper Mausoleum. The option to purchase and design a private family mausoleum is also available.

The Garden of Serenity, Grand View Memorial Park's 1st upright monument section, opened in the spring of 1998, giving families the opportunity to memorialize their loved ones with a uniquely designed upright monument or statue. We are happy to work with you to create a custom option that suits your family’s needs.

Also located inside Grand View Memorial Park is Bethany Cemetery, a special section for Catholics that has a crucifix at the center.
